Sell over the counter, deliver it, and bill the labour.

1. Deliveries with driver proof of delivery

Add a delivery to a sale, pick a zone or type the fee, and the fee becomes a charged line on the invoice. The delivery then has its own life: assigned to a driver, out for delivery, delivered. The driver captures who received it and a signature or photo, and that record is bound to the delivery. Drivers see only their own runs; a manager sees them all.

Staff role: Delivery Driver — lands on the deliveries screen and can update only their own assignments.

2. Labour and job cards

Keep a list of labour items priced by the hour or at a fixed rate. Add labour to a sale or to a job card, with the technician who did the work. A job card holds the customer, the description, the labour lines and the parts, and the technician clocks their own time against it. When the job is done it goes to the till as a normal sale — cash, card or on account.

Staff role: Technician — sees and clocks their own jobs, nothing else.

3. Trade accounts, price tiers and quotes

Open trade accounts with credit limits, receipts and statements. Give an account a price tier, and selecting that account at the till reprices the goods lines — the original price is kept next to the new one so the change is auditable. Build a quote from the same catalogue, print or share it, and turn it into an invoice when the customer says yes.

Staff role: Trade Counter Sales — sells, quotes and applies a tier without the general price-override right.

Wholesale and trade credit

Sales on account go to the debtors control account, and a customer over their credit limit is refused at the till. Statements, ageing and receipts are the same engine the wholesale sector uses.

Works with no internet

The till, the deliveries list and the job cards all run from the browser database on the device. Nothing is lost when the line drops, and the app installs from the browser.

Not for supermarkets

Supermarkets and grocery shops keep the Retail sector with its scales, PLUs and shelf tools. Retail & Trade is for every other shop and trade counter.
