Data Processing Disclosure
Last reviewed: 22 August 2026.
Local beta processing
In the offline beta, operational records such as products, sales, stock, staff settings and ledger entries are stored in the browser's local database on the merchant's device. The merchant controls access to that device and remains the controller/responsible party for its business records.
Optional sensitive data
Any staff face-photo or biometric clock-in capability must be optional, consent-based and handled by the merchant in accordance with applicable regional law. Do not enable or collect sensitive data without the required notices, consent, access controls and deletion process.
Connected mode
Connected cloud sync, multi-site services, payment processing, hardware order intake and notification adapters are not enabled in this release. No vendor, processor, sub-processor, retention period or cross-border transfer should be inferred from a preview screen. A separate notice and owner-approved data-processing terms are required before those services go live.
Regional settings
The app may use a country setting to select currency, tax defaults, language and direction. A visitor may override the detected setting. This regional helper is not identity verification or tax advice.
Rights and requests
Use the app's local export, backup and reset tools for records held on your device. The official privacy/contact channel for requests is pending verified owner details; unresolved regional complaints should follow the regulator route applicable to the data subject's country.
