POS Settings

One place for checkout safety, receipts, payments and customer screens. Settings are saved on this business and keep working offline. Staff permissions still apply: a store-wide setting never gives an unauthorised login extra access.

Stock & barcode help

Choose how the till handles unavailable and unknown items.

Let a sale continue below zero and flag it for stock investigation.
If an unknown barcode exists in the offline IntelliVision catalogue, show its details for human confirmation.

Cancellation, refunds & prices

The selected price rule is a store-wide ceiling. Role and per-user permissions remain the first gate.

When off, the login needs the price-override permission.
When off, the login needs the refund permission.

Receipt & document layout

The thermal layouts produce ESC/POS slips. A5/A4 uses the installed printer/browser document route and must be test-printed on the target network printer before trading.

Duplicates must be marked and audited.

Payments

Hide tenders a store does not accept. Card sales remain fail-closed unless a paired terminal returns a verified approval.

Card, account and mixed tenders never round. The adjustment is stored separately from sales and VAT.

Language & till theme

Language applies to supported interface text. Custom colours keep contrast checks.

Customer-facing screen

Works read-only on a second monitor or a paired tablet login. Select only the facts the shopper should see.

Named supervisor approvals

Configure a separate 4–8 digit approval PIN for a real owner, manager or supervisor. The cashier stays signed in; the override records exactly who approved it. PINs are hashed and never shown again.

Hardware truth

Bluetooth thermal printer: direct browser/Android bridge support is built; pair and print a test slip. Network A4: the LAN bridge can find installed queues, but A4 layout needs a physical test. FNB terminal: exact-amount terminal workflow is built fail-closed; live FNB use requires the terminal model/protocol, provider adapter and acquiring-bank certification. No screen will invent an approval.
